KRISS-TDI TO ALSO SHOWCASE THEIR NEW .40 S&W AND .45 ACP PISTOL VARIANT OF THE KRISS SUPER V SBR/SO AT THIS YEARS SHOT SHOW
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA - (January 2010) - Transformational Defense Industries, Inc. (KRISS-TDI), a global leader in firearm operating system technology, announced today the official launch of their new .40 S&W caliber version of the popular KRISS Super V series, including the SMG, CRB/SO, and SBR/SO. In addition, KRISS-TDI will be showcasing their new .40 S&W and .45 ACP pistol variant of the KRISS Super V SBR/SO at the 2010 Shot Show.
After an extensive advanced R&D process encompassing all of 2009, the new product line will be available for order, beginning with the 2010 National Shooting Sports Foundation SHOT Show, January 19-22 in Las Vegas, NV. With the tremendous success of the KRISS family of .45 ACP firearms, increased demand for a .40 S&W caliber version, specifically in the LE and civilian markets, has driven the company to expand their production line.
"Adding the .40 S&W rounds to the .45 ACP family is a natural progression that not only responds to the changing needs of our customers in the LE and civilian markets, but shows the priority our company takes in providing what our customers are asking for," said Chuck Kushell, CEO of KRISS-TDI.
The KRISS's ability to handle both the heavy-hitting .45 ACP round as well as the higher velocities and chamber pressures generated by the .40 S&W makes it the perfect firearm for LE officers in close quarter combat situations and for civilians looking for an ideal self-defense firearm. The .40 S&W will share the identical price as the .45 ACP as KRISS-TDI continues to provide the most innovative products with competitive pricing.
In addition to expanding the new caliber version of the KRISS firearms, KRISS-TDI is set to expand in a new direction in providing their customers with a pistol version of the SBR/SO in both the .40 S&W and .45 ACP calibers which was recently ATF approved. A direction taken by the company in order to satisfy a high number of requests from customers for a KRISS Super V pistol.
"We are highly dedicated to expanding our research and development in order to stay ahead of the curve in creating the most innovative, accurate, and easy to maintain firearms in the industry," said Kushell. "We have a lot in store for 2010 and we are excited to kickoff the new year unveiling our .40 S&W version of our KRISS firearms and our new pistol variant of our SBR/SO at the 2010 Shot Show."
