On Thursday, October 11, TDI welcomed more than a dozen members of the news media to the Blackwater USA Training Facilities in Moyock, North Carolina, for a fully interactive two-hour program to showcase the company's newly completed KRISS Vector SMG .45 ACP (Military and Law Enforcement) and Vector CRB/SO .45 ACP (Civilian Carbine) weapons.
This new line incorporates an unprecedented technological breakthrough that increases weapon controllability by reducing muzzle climb by as much as 90 percent and felt recoil by as much as 50 percent.
The event provided members of the media with the unique opportunity to experience first-hand the features and benefits of these products, scheduled for institutional and public release in January 2008.
The sun-splashed day began with a classroom program at which TDI CEO Chuck Kushell, Senior Vice President Andrew Finn, Vice President Tim Lindsay and others described and displayed the mechanics and the physics of the weapons, followed by a tactical demonstration and an opportunity for those in attendance to fire the weapons.
